Biography

Dr. Murray Krahn is the Director of THETA (Toronto Health Economics and Technology Assessment Collaborative), the F. Norman Hughes Chair in Pharmacoeconomics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor in the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Toronto, Senior Scientist the Toronto General Research Institute and Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences, Toronto. He is also an attending physician in the division of General Internal Medicine at the University Health Network, Toronto. He completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Epidemiology at McMaster University, and a Clinical Fellowship in Medical Decision Making at the New England Medical Centre in Boston. Dr. Krahn's research program focuses on the use of decision analytic methods to examine health policy and health decision-making. He leads one of the leading technology assessment institutes in the country.
