Hospital readmissions among Toronto-based adults with a history of homelessness
Despite high interest among decision-makers and health services researchers in examining hospital readmissions, few studies have focused on readmissions among individuals experiencing homelessness, a population with unique health challenges. The objectives of this study are to determine the crude and adjusted rate of 30-day hospital readmissions among Toronto-based adults with a history of homelessness and to assess risk factors associated with readmissions among this population.
