Arezou Zaresani

Biography

Arezou Zaresani is a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a Research Affiliate at the Institute for Labor Studies (IZA). She completed a PhD in economics at the University of Calgary and an MA at the Simon Fraser University. Arezou is an empirical microeconomist with research interests in health, public and labour economics. She is interested in using empirical evidence to understand how financial incentives affect individuals' decision making and, use it to design better public policies. Arezou's research involves design-based analysis, where she exploits quasi-experimental variation to study economic questions of interest. For more information, please see https://azaresani.com
