University of Michigan Assistant Professor

The Department of Health Management and Policy (HMP) at the University of Michigan is seeking an assistant professor—within the field of health economics.  They are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in global health, with a focus middle or lower income countries.  However, they welcome applications from diverse areas of health economics.  Applicant must have a PhD by September 1, 2018.  Initial interviews will be conducted at the AEA meetings and/or via Skype.

“We seek researchers with strong scholarly credentials and a promise of external research funding.   The faculty member will teach at the masters and doctorate level, and possibly the School’s undergraduate program.  HMP values diversity and we encourage candidates to share their personal experiences of diversity with the committee.”
