Jill Furzer is a fourth-year PhD student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and a CCHE Fellow. She holds a MA in Economics from the University of Toronto and received her BA Honours in Economics at the University of Alberta. Her dissertation is centred on child mental health disorders within educational settings.
Abstract
This tutorial will provide a basic introduction on the use of STATA software for statistical analysis. The workshop will provide an overview of: data management, summary statistics, estimating linear regression models, post-estimation commands, among other topics. No previous experience using STATA or any other statistical software packages is required. Please come prepared with a laptop computer equipped with STATA.
