City of New Westminster Economic Impact Study

The City of New Westminster is seeking a qualified consultant or consulting team to provide economic analysis for a proposed Economic Health Care Cluster built around the Royal Columbian Hospital in the City of New Westminster, British Columbia. The first study related to this initiative is an Economic Impact Assessment for both the current hospital campus and a redevelopment and expansion being proposed by the Fraser Health Authority.

The RFP document for this initial study is attached, with Background Information and the Scope of Work beginning on page 6. The closing for proposals is 3 p.m. local time on January 9th, 2015.

Interested parties must register using the “Economic Impact Assessment – Consulting Services” link from the “Request for Bids & Proposals – Open” page on the City’s website at:

The City will post any amendments to the Request for Proposal on the website.
