Introduction to STATA® – Part II

Abstract:

This Seminar is the second in the two-part introduction to the STATA statistical software package. The purpose is to give participants a hands-on, guided tutorial on the use of STATA for data analysis with examples. Topics will include reading/cleaning data, generating summary statistics, estimating regression models, post-estimation commands, and STATA tips/tricks. In order to get the most out of the session, participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with STATA installed or share if attending with a friend. Data for the tutorial will be provided at the Seminar. All are welcome.

Biography:

Adrian

Adrian Rohit Dass is a Research Coordinator at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Guelph. He is interested in the application of econometric methods to survey and administrative data from longitudinal studies. His primary area of research is applied microeconometrics in the field of health economics.
