Biography

Dr. Beate Sander is a Scientist at Public Health Ontario, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), University of Toronto, and Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES). Dr. Sander holds degrees in Nursing (RN), Business Administration (MBA), Economics of Development (MEcDev), and a Doctorate in Health Services Research (PhD). Her expertise encompasses several methodological domains, including decision analysis, health economics, mathematical modeling and epidemiology. Dr. Sander’s research supports health policy decision-making through methodological and applied research in economic evaluation.
